All Horns, No Action

This photo was taken in Colorado within the Rocky Mountian National Park. On Trail Ridge Road, we came across a group of elk taking a rest on the tundra. I crouched over to them, then slowly crawled nearer to get this picture from about ten feet away. They eventually got frustrated and stood up and slowly grazed away.
