A Dome Inside

This photo was taken at the Virginia State Capitol in Richmond, VA. In addition to housing the oldest legislative body in the Western world for over 200 years, Mr. Jefferson’s building has also served as the Capitol of the Confederacy during the American Civil War and is one of only eleven state capitols in the United States to not have an external dome.
